The Braves would like to announce, that 2014 3B/OF Chris Smutny from Bullard HS in Fresno, CA has committed to play ball at Columbia University.

Chris is a very good hitter with speed and a strong arm. Although he now lives in California, Chris is originally from Virginia and wanted to attend an east coast college. He played with the Braves for one season. We congratulate Chris and his family.- Tommy Mayers/National Director
