These are the teams that are built to showcase rapidly developing NCAA college prospects. The teams participate in the most exclusive invitational events in America and travel out of state 2-3 times per season to play in the best of the best events available.

We are excited to begin forming our 12U, 13U, and 14U Braves Capital Region teams to play in Fall 2026/Spring 2027 and invite dedicated young players and families to become part of one of the most respected and successful baseball development programs in the country.
For decades, the Richmond Braves have developed hundreds of college and professional players — including first-round draft picks, College All-Americans, and College World Series MVPs. While those achievements happen at the older levels, the foundation is built at 12U–14U through strong fundamentals, accountability, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
⚾ 12U, 13U & 14U – Fall 2026 Teams
This tryout is open to 12U, 13U and 14U players of all skill levels who are serious about getting better, competing and developing in a structured, high-expectation environment.
Our Fall teams will focus on:
• Skill development and baseball IQ
• Proper mechanics and arm care foundations
• Strength, speed, and agility development
• Competitive tournament play
• Preparing players for future high school and upper-level Braves opportunities
• Building confidence, discipline, and leadership
These teams are designed for players who love the game and want to be challenged in a positive, growth-focused program.

Thanks for a great day today. My son, (trying out today for 16U) not only enjoyed the tryout, but also learned a great deal ... the three boys I drove home literally had a chat about "ambition vs dreams," and the value of hard work ... even the small stuff - proper warm up drills, foot strengthening exercises, etc -- were valuable. Best regards and thanks again for taking the time to spend with the boys. That was the best darn money we have spent on baseball in a long time. ... we'll thank our friend (on the Braves) for his suggestion to come and tryout.
